The Dead do Matter in an Election Year!

http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/06/04/dead-voters-still-showing-up-on-election-records-puzzling-officials/

Well this is SUCH a relief. I can rest easy knowing that when I am dead, my vote still counts!

When I lived in Chicago, I always heard the jokes about the graveyard voters. Chicago may be crooked in their elections, but at least they're upfront about it. The precinct captain would call before each election and ask if you needed anything done (e.g., new garbage cans, streetlight fixed, potholes patched, whatever) and offer you a ride to the polls. Such nice people.

The election official very stridently pointed out that there was no fraud, only "clerical errors", i.e., the clerk marked the wrong person.

What was rightly pointed out was that as long as dead people are still on the rolls, there remains the possibility of fraud. Yet another reason for voter ID.

I know I'm going to catch hell for this.....but anyone that would vote for Obama is probably brain dead already.
