Pranks and the race card

UPDATE: It gets even better: This was inspired by MTV

Interesting story out of New York. The "prank" story alone is interesting, but check the comments. A real eye opener.

Wow. Not funny at all. Can you imagine being so sick you have to go to the hospital only to find out you were drugged? Kids do stupid things and I'm sure they did not intend this level of harm. But, this is over the top stupid and they need to be held accountable. Prison time seems a little harsh though but we don't know all the details. Wow. I'm storing that information. Never eat anything from a student.

My first thought was, "Something that sends someone to the hospital is not a 'prank.'"

As I read the comments, I was reminded of the Journal Times' oommenters. I didn't know that the student involved was black until a commenter pointed it out, but what does that have to do with anything? Do wrong and you will be punished - my mommy taught this white boy that in the first few years of my life.
