Pics from Up North

Hello everybody,I'm back! Yep,back from Up North. I had a great weekend. Spent some time with my family. Friday, the weather was gorgeous-did some fishing with my son,a little 4wheelin',and took some long walks into the woods to get some pics. The first three pictures were taken on the family property and the last one is the Wolf River, taken along the way through the Menominee Indian Reservation. Saturday,it rained. Did a little window shopping in Antigo. Got some of my mom's home cooking into me. Even brought home of my mom's world's best homemade chocolate-chip cookies!

Gorgeous pictures drew. Reminds me of property near Minocqua that my parents had when I was a kid. Saw your IP from Antigo... knew you were loading pages slowly ;) Glad you had a good time.

Still ticked you beat my butt at football this week. How did that happen? Congrats, respectfully but regretfully :(

KK,my brother in law's parents live in Minocqua.I've been there a couple of times when when I was kid. Who knows, maybe our paths may have crossed.(It's a small world)

I may take a vacation from Racine, but I'm addicted to being irregular:)

Welcome back, drew. Great pics.

The color's not quite there yet in Racine, but it won't be long. Again, Petrifying Springs Park can be breathtaking in the fall.

Thank you, everybody, for your kind comments:). I'm hoping to go back up there Thanksgiving weekend. What's the bummer is that I didn't see too much wildlife up there this time. Athough, I did see a few sandhill crane and a flock of turkey crossing the road. No deer,no bear.
