Try It, You'll Like It

I just found what might be the coolest website EVER...

Go to http://weatherbonk.com/ Click on the webcams tab at the top. You can see around the world just by rolling your mouse over the pins on the map. If you like what you see, click on it for a bigger picture. If you zoom in, there are hundreds of live cameras.

I found Santa's House in the Arctic Circle, some amazing bridge pictures on the east coast of the U.S. I saw a sunrise in Maine this morning that knocked my socks off...

You can see where the light of the earth currently
is and where it is night. If you click deep enough to the camera itself, you can see the refresh rate or get the live camera.

I looked for Why Not? in Sweden, but I'll need a bit more direction from her to pinpoint who she is...

Stinking cool! I want to go to Pearl Beach in Bora Bora. Next road trip?

I just changed my weather site to that one, so much more detailed, but I haven't been able to get past our area, I will keep clicking around and see what I'm missing

Sorry doesnt seem like there is a cam in my neck of the woods. If you look in Sweden I'm very close to a city called Linköping. but like I said no cameras..

Interesting, but they don't have the Kitt Peak webcams!

Hey there you go Orbs, I studied there for awhile, pretty cool.. Why didnt I see this camera before when I was looking? I'm not so good at this stuff..

Yeah Cyndi, If i remember right you were a midwife at one point or worked with obstetrics did I remember right? It was along time ago I remember talking about that, so I'm sorry if I remember completely wrong. I was wondering if you had any advice or websites or just plain information to help a nervous second mom to be that will be going through labor in about a month..

Hale, it looks very easy to add the webcams. All you need is the URL, pick a pin spot on the map, provide an email... agree to terms (always required) and it is done. I saw 2 different URLS from Kitt Peak. One was of a tower of some sort, the other was a catwalk... [images blocked for the catwalk :( on my work computer. Just what nonsense goes on there anyway? Hmmmm...]

Hmm...I am not able to find the ones at Kitt Peak. You must have a trick I haven't figured out yet!

I must have a lucky Google finger.

Kitt Peak
Kitt Peak 2

The images are beautiful! You should add them to that site!

Oh, I see kk. I was looking for them on the site...I know those sites of course. In 2007 there was a fire near Kitt Peak and you could see the orange at night in one of the web cams (the one from the 4 meter telescope was pointing the right direction).
