Is your birthday approaching? Just want to find out some cool information about the year you were born? Give this a whirl... You only need to give it your name and a date. Graphics are kinda cool too as the gears turn. So, maybe I'm easy.....
The year I was born:
The average wage earner made $4,650.00 per year, a loaf of bread sold for $.19, a new car sold for $2,200.00 and gas cost $.24 per gallon. One of the top songs was "The Purple People Eater" by Sheb Wooley. Hey, I remember some of those lyrics, yikes!

SER, I find it amusing that gas when we were born was $.20/per gal and when I got my first car in 1969 (68 Mustang), I paid .23/gal and filled it up for less than $3!
Oh, I loved that car...wide oval tires, 'c' stripe on the side.....
