ESPN: Favre to retire

I think you all know my affection for Brett. I knew there had to be more to it than what was said openly. I can only imagine how upsetting it is to know you still have the ability to do a good job but your employer does everthing in their power to thwart your efforts.

I can still forgive him. He says openly, although in hindsight, that his motives for moving to NY probably weren't the best thing he could have done.

Maybe Brett Favre retiring every year will become a tradition unto itself in the NFL, and then the analysts will speculate on when he will retire from retiring every year.

I didn't want to see him leave the Pac, I was hoping he would become some kind of coach...or hell even water boy. I was disappointed when he joined the Jets.

He looked pretty whipped after a few of those Jets games.

He'll always be a super star IMO. He played his heart(and arm) out.

Besides. he's kinda cute. ;)
