You got that right!

Just think how small instruction booklets would be if they weren't in 10 different languages.

It cost the goverment (our tax dollars) millions to print shit in a bunch of different languages.

And I am sick of the Spanish subtitles on ABC! They creep across my screen, covering up News updates! Good grief.

¿Que pasa?

I wonder how the millions and millions and millions of immigrants to this country who had to learn the language and the history and the laws of this country ever did it? It is obviously beyond the grasp of our current "immigrants," who sneak illegally into the country in the middle of the night, and then demand "rights" in their native tongue.

Why does everyone else have to pay for English as a second language classes for the children of people who are too lazy, disrespectful, and/or churlish to learn the language of the country they have taken hostage?

I never understood this. I lived the immigrant story. My parents were immigrants to this country, "real" immigrants who didn't steal into the country, but applied for citizenship, took classes, learned the language and the laws, and were naturalized.

I spit on those who mock the hard work of generations of immigrants by bypassing the laws of our country and demanding rights. They are an insult to MY heritage and my native tongue and everything that my parents worked for. F*ck them.

Isn't the purpose of them coming here is to have a better life? How can you do that if you don't know the language. There was a story a few years ago about a mexican lady who at 50++ gave birth. She has been in this country for 30 years but still doesn't speak English.
How the hell do you function? Oh wait, they can because we let them.
Orbs, you are right on!

My grandma came over on a boat from Denmark with 11 children. She struggled to learn the language and become an American citizen. In fact, she learned from her kids who went to school in regular classes.

It was with pride that she learned to write notes in English to the teachers. How is it that we have 3rd, 4th generation immigrants, with children in ESL (English as a second language classes) who can still can not speak English?

On the flip side... I've worked and continue to study a second language. How can some be so arrogant?

I do not even know why any politician would entertain the thought of giving illegal aliens ANYTHING.

Any one of them who does is NOT AN AMERICAN! And I will tell the sons-a-bitches to their face!

That about sums up my feelings on the subject!
