Forgetter Be Forgotten
My forgetter's getting better,
But my rememberer is broke
To you that may seem funny
But, to me, that is no joke
For when I'm 'here' I'm wondering
If I really should be 'there'
And, when I try to think it through,
I haven't got a prayer!
Oft times I walk into a room,
Say 'what am I here for?'
I wrack my brain, but all in vain!
A zero, is my score.
At times I put something away
Where it is safe, but, Gee!
The person it is safest from
Is, generally, me!
When shopping I may see someone,
Say 'Hi' and have a chat,
Then, when the person walks away
I ask myself, 'who the heck was that?'

I unfortunately recognize that way too much.. I have been very forgetful since as long as I can remember (giggle). I often worry about what I'm going to be like when I'm 80 if I'm this forgetful and I'm not even 30 yet..
Don't worry W/N, that is just a symptom of childbirth. It goes away for awhile, then age sneaks up on you and then, unfortunately, it returns...
I do believe it was written about me :) (or by me, I can't remember...)
I forgot what I was going to say.
I have NO short term memory. Actually probably have A.D.D? I forget AT ONCE, and after a few days or weeks or whatever it goes into long term memory, where I NEVER forget. It's Weird, but than so am I. Up here they say "So Don't I" or
I Don't To"

OK I'm stareing into the frige but what the heck was I lookin for? Perhaps my brain? I hate that i finally remember what I was looking for when I'm as far from it as I can be!

If any of you would like to have some fun someday. When in the grocery store, ask another customer what it was you forgot to get. The look you get is priceless.
I even ask people in WalMart if they have seem my wife? Actually most people answer they don't know her. I would probably just walk away?
