They are all TRUE ...

That's what I would have said. I've heard of a few of them already. I like to collect odd trivia.

For instance: Paraguay is the only country with a different decoration on both sides of their flag. Ted Krysinski was #2416 on the unabomber suspect list. The country Kirabadi has a 23 hour difference between coastlines. It is right on the date line. A 35 year old man's thigh bone will hold 21 men before breaking.

How is one born without a belly button?

Good question Mary.

#24 creeped me out. It is great that it isn't just wasted, but can they do that without your consent?

The belly button forms after the umbilical stumps dries up and retracts.

All humans are born with one. I remember taking care of the sites on my children until they dried up and came off. (Kind of gross)

Some abdominal surgeries can remove the area so that there is no mark left. Perhaps that is what is being referred to, or it is false and just an urban legend.

Did Adam and Eve have belly buttons?

They also keep the placenta. It is placed in the freezer, and sold for makeup or something. That oughta REALLY gross you out.

I worked at St. Luke's in the 60s and that's what the nurses told me up in the delivery room.

I'm kinda impartial to #18. I thought chameleons could do the same thing.
