GREAT DANE NEEDS OUR PRAYERS

Some of you are aware of who Great Dane is. She is currently in Intensive Care in the Hospital in Florida. Her son found her lying on her kitchen floor, helpless. She has MANY CRITICAL health issues and needs the prayers of ANYONE wishing to do so. She is NOT a terribly religious person BUT I have faith that some good comes from others, weather they know the person or not, or even if they care. Please find it in yourself to say a word for her.

THANK YOU,

GREAT DANES LITTLE BROTHER TOAD.

Toad, I am so sorry to hear this. I haven't heard from her in a while, but you know we e-mail from time to time. Give her my best and tell her she is definitely in my prayers.

Toad, you can call or e-mail me. I will check to see if you have my new cell #. But I'm sure I sent it to you yesterday.

Best wishes to Great Dane. Please let her know that all of us support her and wish the best.

Please remember to take care of yourself, toad. Rest when you can. She needs your strength now too.

Like Beejay we had been e-mailing and I hadn't heard from her in a while either.
I hope everything turns around and she comes back stronger than ever. I miss her spunk!
Let her know we are all thinking of her. And please, keep us posted.

TO ALL: I was sitting thinking about turning the computer on this morning, and was thinking about all of the responses I knew I was going to see on this blog. I thought about each of you, and how our friendship has become like a marriage. "Till death do us part". I knew yesterday that if I posted this blog the response would be just as it is. You folks need to understand JUST how important you ARE in ONE man's life. I also thought about the "Clic's" in school that I was never a member and how I finally became a member of one of the finest "Clic's" ever imagined.

A Heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you, and all that follow.

Toad, this group is a 'family,' and like it or not, once you are in, you cannot find a way out. Just like the real thing only, in some ways, better.

And as kk says, take care of yourself as well. Let me know if you are coming down to FL and please, please keep us posted.

I just heard from Great Danes son, and things SEEM to be getting better as the hours go by. Her Kidney's and Liver are still mostly inactive but, have improved very slightly. She isn't aware of WHAT happened? She has some Heart damage that was never apparent before? I think all of YOUR thoughts and prayers may be working.

An intersting side note is, her favorite flower is the Iris. I was in my backyard this morning, and on the edge of the JUNGLE behind me was a beautiful single Purple and White Iris. I have NEVER seen it before. I couldn't help but think it was pretty amazing. I took many photos of it, and will send them to her.

Again I thank ALL of you for your kind words and thoughts.

Toad, very funny you said that about the iris. At home here my parents have an area with a lot of irises. They have been there all of my life and although I enjoyed them, I never really stopped and looked at them. Today I just stopped and sat in the warm grass and kind of had a meditation right there for no reason. For whatever reason they were calling to me to sit down and just think about life.

I hope Great Dane recovers very soon. I am sorry to hear that someone you love so much is sick. she and you are in my thoughts and my impromptu meditation sessions.

Hi Friends:

I just talked to her nurse in Intensive Care, and she is seemingly getting better each day. Her procedure went well to drain the Gall Bladder of it's OLD bile. I guess that is the origin of the Sepsis infection? Her circulation is improving daily, the Kidney's are also getting better each day, along with her bloodwork. All in all, I fell pretty darn good about the news lately.

I am becoming a believer minute by minute that THIS group of the FINEST has a hand in this MIRACLE. Again Thank you to ALL.
