Gee, other than the fact that government and business in the US are so corrupt that they taint every aspect of life in this country, I got nothing today.

I, personally, don't feel too stimulated by the stimulus... bummer.

How about some aromatic gels and body lotions? I an do a decent pool boy act if you need...

Abby, why not hop the curb, drive across the grass, and park in the driveway like normal.

No peeves for me, I woke in a good mood.

Yeah, I'm feeling like Huck. In fact, I've been feeling pretty good for about a week. And that probably explains why I haven't been posting as much. If they ever come up with an antidepressant that really works, it will probably end my writing career.

Mortgage Companies. FEMA decided we were in a flood zone so the Mortgage co. gave us 45 days to buy flood insurance. Except it was more like 15 days and it was $1700. Meanwhile, we were hiring a surveyor to prove we are not in a flood zone, and he did. This all started in Dec.
A week ago we get a letter from the Mortgage Co. (Chase) that they have cancelled the flood insurance. I figured they got notifed by FEMA that we were not in a flood zone. NOPE. Apparently we needed $150,000 worth of flood and the Mortgage Co. only put $149,600 on. Dumba@@@es. And they wonder why they are in the mess they are in? Oh and by the way, the extra $400 in flood insurance will cost us $1000.

Mary..YOU WIN!

Huck don't think I haven't thought about doing that......my car sits kinda low and I still like the car. They've got them riped up all around me too so I'd have to drive on 3 lawns to get to my drive way......I don't wanna start everyone else doing it too.I'd be pissed if they tore up my lawn too........

Hey Abby,

I had a fabulous day yesterday so my complaint mode is low, but I do have one about people getting multiple DUI’s and if I get started...well there would be way to much potty talk so I’ll be nice and stop here.

Cabana boy.... you could probably earn a good living with those skills, huck! ;>

Calling around town for car repairs! AAAARGH!

MinnesotaChick said...

Abby, they did that when they ripped up the sidewalks here. Ripped them up, dug it out, then it sits for a week before they fill it in.

Drew.. you need a battery?

drewzepmeister said...

No DA, my power windows won't roll down.

MinnesotaChick said...

That's a bummer!

OrbsCorbs said...

Drew, none of them? Maybe a fuse?

drewzepmeister said...

Orbs, none of them work. I replaced the fuses, still the same problem. I think there is a short in wires somewhere.
