JT blogs

How do I find the JT blogs? Nothing but nothing. Except for staff blogs, it is dead. How will we adjust if all of that venom comes here? I'll bail from here as I'm not into full court presses of rhetoric from either side. A once in a while walk through the slum is fine, but not daily living.

I think we all came here to escape the venom. I don't see that negativity becoming commonplace here. I sure hope not. We can only keep our "house" clean by leading through example.

Even though we occasionally disagree on some major issues, we seem to have a tolerance for our differences. Maybe that is because we have made an effort and invested in each other through friendship?

Are you talking about blogs by people? I see alot of "posts" next to the JT blogs (maybe they renamed it?) I dunno. That site is so far underpar in my eyes, I have had to sign in 3 different times to try to check my stuff or post a comment and it never works. Guess I will go there once in a blue moon but no more

I found I get nothing (by clickinbg on MY COMPUTER) when I am using mozilla. But when I go through Internet Explorer and on to the JT site, MY COMMENTS come up. Weird, HUH?

Nothing like spell checking AFTER you post, huh? That was 'clicking' not 'clickinbg" LOL

2nd correction: I go through mozilla to JT site, click on My Journal Times.com and get nothing but as I said b4 when I go through IE I get all the blogs.

Nope, it isn't working for me with either FF or IE and I show checked in. That's fine. A break from the drama is like a nice vacation

Also I just have to tell you-all....When you (particularly a serviceman) meet a Medal of Honor owner, they must be greeted AND saluted BEFORE any one else. No matter what rank. Interesting, huh?

OK..I'm done.

Hmmm. The MY.JOURNALTIMES.COM link works for me: http://my.journaltimes.com/community/app/nf/vistafs.aspx.

I agree with kk - you can call a group of people a "community," but that doesn't make them one. Every offer I've made to meet with a Journal Times blogger who disagrees with me has been refused.

Sorry I haven't been posting as much. I'm going to be very busy for the next month or so. That may be a good thing, though...

I'm hanging up the hat with the JT for awhile (not going to even bother saying one swear word trying to do something there) got alot more website stuff doing on with my site (made friends with another website and we are working on any kinks I am encountering, should be interesting) except I am NOT A DARN html programmer. Enough said, getting off and going and enjoying the weather. Have a good weekend everyone! PS since someone busted me out on my own site (lol) whadda guys think of racineuncovered merging over to racinenews?

I think it is great, R/U. The more variety you deliver, the more tempering you have from other sources, only makes you better. If I wasn't so darn protective, happy with and extremely proud of what we already have, we would REALLY kick butt if all three of us merged.

Sounds like a very good match, racineuncovered.

racineuncovered wordpress is php not html

php, html at this point it's foreign to me lol.... BTW. Went back onto the JT for giggles, tried to post a comment, signed in said the comment posted and poof it diseppeared (wasn't a bad comment either) then I went to my account, had to sign in again. Is anyone have those problems or am I just really computer handicapped today?

I can post comments on the JT site but every once in a while it says I have to comment in order to post even though I am obviously not trying to post a "blank".

I have not tried to check "My JT" or the blogs.

R/U, I'll have to check your site and try to figure out what's going on seeing that your name had been previously linked to your screen name.

The new JT site is BRUTAL!!!

I won't go back.

I noticed in the beginning that when I posted comments, they didn't appear for awhile, so I assumed they were moderating comments. Probably the software was just slow.

I have had to manually log in each time I've gone to the site after dumping my cookies (the autofill doesn't work there anymore), but once I'm logged in, it's been OK. I mean, I can go about the site, post, etc., and I stay logged in.

I'm using Firefox, which was just updated again, this time knocking my Google toolbar spellchecker for a loop. I fret when there's a number of updates in a row.

Huck: I sent a note to Rob Golub, because I couldn't get anything to work right. I got a note back today stating they were working out some problems. Actually he said "Excuse the dust"

You already know I don't frequent the JT blogs that much but can't resist sometimes. I would hate to lose out on some of the fun.

Hopefully it will all work out soon.
