Four for Fridays

Hello Everybody! Well, I just learned that my folks are going on a trip to Cancun, Mexico. Is that something? It inspired me on this weeks questions about vacations.

1) When was the last time you took a vacation?

2) Where was your favorite vacation spot?

3) Where would you like take a vacation to?

4) Where DON'T you want to go?

Thanks! Enjoy your weekend!

2) Orange County, California. Yellowstone was cool though.

3) Hawaii-I have this thing about palm trees.

4) I don't want to go to cities like Detroit or New York. Amusement parks doesn,t thrill to me as much as nature does.

I don't remember my last vacation. I normally don't take them.

My favorite vacation spot as a kid was Hayward, Wis.

Interesting that Why Not mentioned Riga, Latvia, because that is where I would like to take a vacation.

I also don't want to go where it's too cold, but I don't like it too hot, either. I prefer moderate temps.

Orbs, funny my parents own a summer "house" (more like four walls with no electricity, no running water and a roof, cozy really but not really a house) up north not far from Hayward, we go there often when we are up there visiting.

As for Riga, dont know what your reason is for wanting to go to Riga but I do have to say that Tallinn was much more interesting to look at than Riga (If the reason is just getting to a neat Baltic city). My thinking is that Riga got a little more harshly bombed and has lost a lot of their older buildings.. It mostly looked like many other little older European cities (reminded me of Stockholm actually). Tallinn was very old with the old city walls still in tact.. very cool I think I still have the pictures up at JT website on my profile page from Tallinn, I can post some or just send some from Riga for you if you would like. They of course were both very interesting and glad I got to both of them.
