We had clear winners except for one 2 way tie for
Best Italian Restaurant.

I've never been to Salute so I have to vote for Infusino's, and they are very good too :

Never been to Salute either, so I'll take Infusino's. So the balance teeters...:P
Salute...Infusino's has never been a favorite of mine...they do give you a lot of food, but.....
I vote for Infu's. My grandmother and grandfather, mom and dad vote for Infu's too (voting Chicago style if you know what I mean).
I have to laugh. It reminds me of the time I worked at a radio station in Rockford, Ill. A jock and I had an on air Pizza review. We would go around town to the various establishments and do a critique. A few days after doing a review of an establishment that had, shall we say had connections with groups in Chicago, the GM of the station highly recommend that we go back and have another shot at the place and "update" our review. He then put the cabash on anymore critiquing.

I'll have to say Salutes. Even though I love Infusinos, Salutes seems a little more authentic.

I'm going to be really helpful, and split my vote. Infusino's is my absolute favorite pizza in the city. However, if you want really good Italian food, it has to be Salute.
I swear I voted this morning! I said Infusino's because they give Sr Citizen discounts. Salute is down town so parking is a problem. I am losing it as I type.
I've never been to Salute.
Infusino's I guess... except they changed their awesome ravioli so that kind of disappointed me.
