More on The Midwest Fireball Meteor

This time I thought I would post the video of the man who found a piece of it last week.

Finding meteor fragments is not easy...that's why they are valuable! Meteors that come from known falls tend to me more valuable than random finds.

I have a small meteor...it was given to me as a gift. It was found in Sudan if I remember correctly, but not part of a known meteor. It's a fairly common type and not particularly valuable (probably in the $20 range on the open market) but it's still kind of cool to have.

That story is so amazing, it doesn't seem possible.

Amazing, but true.

Finding pieces in the fields has to be tough. I wouldn't see them with these eyes.
