Jensen Kinnitt, 2010 World Yo-Yo Champion

I thought it was something when I got my yo-yo to just spin at the end of the string.

Half the time it looks like the yoyo isn't even connected to the string! In 1953-54 we would have yoyo salesmen come around the schools (Wash Jr Hi) and demostrate so then all the kids would go in the little store across the street and buy one. The 'good ol' days'.

I remember a time in school when yo-yo's were popular. Duncan yo-yo's were advertised on TV. I had two or three different Duncan models, but I couldn't do any tricks.

The Spinning Top & Yo-Yo Museum is located in Burlington - http://www.topmuseum.org/. I've never been there.

I had a couple Duncan Imperials. Not sure if they still have them, but Duncan use to put on exhibitions that toured all around the country.
