Ya know, it feels like that time again. Been 50 years Orbs. Strange, last time it was a Democrat controlled White House as the totalitarian.

One of the best albums ever pressed.

Btw, if it's like 50 years ago, where is the great creative outburst? I find Lady Gaga interesting, but I doubt that many people will be listening to her five decades from now.

Actually, it's their second album. Their first one, Jefferson Airplane Takes Off released in 1966, features the tune, "Come Up the Years". However, Surrealistic Pillow was the first to feature the legendary Grace Slick on the vocals.

That aside, this album is a CLASSIC! Songs like "White Rabbit" and "Somebody to Love" are on this album.

Thanks for the correction, drew. When I posted that, I thought, "Maybe I should look it up . . . Naw, Surrealistic Pillow was their first one."

I posted another song from this album a couple of weeks ago: http://www.jtirregulars.com/2010/02/jefferson-airplane-comin-back-to-me.html
