Green Day - "Brain Stew" - Live

Green Day is one of my favorite bands. I've seen them live. At one point, lead guitarist and singer Billie Joe Armstrong took off his pants and ran around the stage twirling them above his head. I understand he does that at a lot of concerts. Watching the sheer exuberance of him jump and play in his underpants was great. (Btw, they were boxers.)

Lol, I just saw that the drummer is wearing a clerical collar in that video.

Think that was wild? Check out this video from Woodstock '94. Between them, Blind Melon and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, I don't whom pulled out the wildest show in that festival.

Thanks, drew. That was great. But he still didn't take his pants off.
:-P

What a difference a generation or two makes. At the original Woodstock, people got naked and played in the mud. At Woodstock 94, they threw mud at the performers.

Eh...For most of Woodstock '94 was like the original to a degree. When I videotaped the entire thing, (I watched it on pay per view) I was amazed at the peacefulness and the surreality of it all...There were mosh pits, naked people body surfing and yes, people playing in the mud. There was a cornucopia of acts and audience reaction. People of all ages were digging acts like Aerosmith, Bob Dylan, Metallica, Allman Brothers, Cypress Hill, Peter Gabriel and the list goes on.

Unfortunately, Woodstock '99 was a different story. The combination of the heat, excessive commercialism, the amount of heavy metal and rap acts, and high prices created a highly volatile situation. The audience had literary burned the place to the ground.

Orbs, you little rocker, you! Not being a guy and understanding all that stuff... I would think it difficult to tuck boxers into tight jeans. I guess the real question is what brand of eyeliner is he using? It has gotten heavier and heavier as the years pass.
