I've lost a lot of sleep and hair (yeah I don't handle stress well physically) over this getting ready to travel.. I'm leaving a lot undone, but got the most of what I wanted to do done.. Here I go.. Off to Stockholm today, tomorrow it's Racine or bust.. wish us luck..

Bla bla bla....I'm going fishing

I think SER caused it to rain with his fishing plans. :(

I bought some tomato plants and a couple flowers yesterday. I'm really hoping that summer comes this year.

Best wishes to WhyNot. May your trip be hassle free and exciting. Looking forward to seeing you and the family.

I washed my car yesterday, that's why it's raining. lol. Home grown tomato are the best. I like the upside down planters you see on the infomercials. I have to try them someday, but for now I will continue to grow them the traditional way, and then probably just buy them at the farmer's market.

Jed, you can do the same thing with a Piggly Wiggly plastic bag, as long as you reinforce the opening you make at the bottom. There are directions somewhere out here on the information highway..... of course it wouldn't be as "pretty" but it is a good way to recycle those bags! :)

KK... Thank you, great idea. One question, does it work with Pick-N-Save, Sentry, Walgreens and Trader Joes bags or does it have to be from the Pig? lol

I've decided not to plant tomatoes this year. Last year, the party people in the building hung out in the backyard. I lost a couple of plants to beer or pee, I don't know which. A couple more were stunted. (And I still had a great crop.)

I'm done fighting the assholes in my life. They can have the backyard.

Orbs, I heave poison ivy is very effective at fighting beer and pee!

Ooo, good idea, hale. Gee, you think nastier than me. I'll plant poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac back there. If someone taking a leak brushes up against one of those, ouch!

I listen to Colorado Public Radio online and they just announced a weather warning for 16 inches of snow. I don't feel so bad about our spring now.

OK, that's in the mountains, but still...
