Power pays

Curt Johnson's family is moving away. The JT is not allowing comments. Too bad. I see North Carolina has a 16 year old consent law. I'd have thought Curt would move to Alabama or Indiana where consent is 14 instead...

This has to be best for their children's sake.

"According to court documents, all of Johnson and Stier-Johnson's children were evaluated by the Racine County Human Services Department and it was determined that no protective services were needed."

I don't trust the yahoos at RCHSD to evaluate anything. I've met some of the people that the county subcontracts with, so-called "psychologists." Nonetheless, it has to be better for the kids to get out of this toxic environment. They have the money, so they are fortunate that they can do it with ease. If I were in the same situation and had their resources, I would probably do the same thing.

As for the Journal Times' online policy, they make it up and change it as they go along. That's nothing new. This entire site is a tribute to their hypocrisy. They play favorites. Their bias is glaring. They released the latest story on the lawsuit against lying John on a Saturday, the slowest news day of the week, when no one reads the paper. That's a typical politically partisan journalistic tactic.

In an ideal world, the Journal Times would be owned and operated locally, and above influence from City Hall. I don't believe that is going to happen, so we have what we have. Too bad for us.

I echo everything orbs said. Whenever there are children involved the whole thing becomes so much more sad. Unfortunately, when someone has money or power, the law is always more in their favor.

Nothing more needs to be said on our local choice of newspaper. I've been very clear in the past on how I feel about their operating practices and procedures.

I am sure that NASCAR Driver Denny Hamlin did not know that he was selling his house to an accused Chomo. I'm wondering if the sale would have gone through if he did....

Well said Orbs....

Stu...3+ Million...ya he would have sold it!

I too believe it is a good move for the family to get out dodge!

I had to chuckle when I read “North Carolina”, I worked down there for a while and one of the fellows (from down there) I was working with was going through a divorce. We discussed the differences between Wisconsin and North Carolina, he could not believe how a man really gets taken (sorry Ladies) for a ride here. Trust me, I know first hand!

As long as she moved down there she is now a resident of the state and NC laws will apply if she opts to kick him to the curb! She will not get as much from him as if she would have stayed in Wisconsin.

BUT...I’m glad she moved no matter where!

Regarding kk's comment about the law being in favor of those with money and/or power: I have absolutely no doubts whatsoever that Curt Johnson will walk away scot-free from this. This is Racine, where even a pedo mayor is given another chance to molest, unless he's stupid enough to screw it up himself. Johnson is no idiot.

No matter what anyone else says, pedophilia does not exist in a vacuum, especially not when it is at the level that it is in Racine. Judges, mayors, teachers, billionaires all belonging to the same "club" in the same city. We even have a local photographer singing the praises of sex with "mature children" online in the comments of the Journal Times.

And then the Journal Times bans me for pointing out the truth, one that has been known to many of us for decades: pedos proliferate in Racine. They are welcomed here by their brethren. And the more the city ignores it, the more pedos they produce with every molestation.

Party on, pedos! Racine is positively pedo!

Watch Curt walk. Tell yourself it's OK. Tell yourself it's OK, too, when one of Racine's pet monsters destroys your child's life.

Talk to some Milwaukee or Madison legal eagles about Racine's infamous courts. They just shake their heads...
