ahahaha!!

I did not want to get up this morning, at least I can sleep in tomorrow!

Is there some kind of animal that like to rob cucumber plants? my 1st 2 little cucumbers that I was so proud of have disappeared, not a happy camper :(

We all know what a 'cougar' is, but is there a male term for the same thing? I know of a couple where he is 50 and she is 19, there has to be a term, and no guys, 'lucky' is not it. IS there a term?

Congrats on being #1 KK. LM, I'll contact my buddy Hef, he certainly would know the correct term.

Froglover, I bust out laughing as I read your response and saw the timing this morning. Too funny! :D

♫♪Thunder and lightning, I tell you it's frightening!♫♪ (I love it, please electricity, stay on!)

Liz... they call it male menopause, or Andropause. It's been called mid-life crisis in the past. Don't they typically want a flashy convertible car too? http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15060803/ns/health-forbes_com/t/dont-call-it-male-menopause/

Also, Logjam posted somewhere in a blog that he would be out of town. You can scratch that name off your list... boo hoo.

p.s. I hate the term cougar. I worked with young men. They are the aggressive ones, and shameless little pigs at times.

Oh, forgot. Chipmunks will steal and eat tomatoes and cucumbers. I put my cucumbers on a trellis. Keeps them off the ground and away from slimy things too.

When KKD wins, it's obvious the Sheriff needs to post these at odd times....

Why did i wake up so early if it's raining?

I've thrown out nine of my tomatoes so far. They all had late light spots. The fungicide stopped the leaf spot, and the rest of the tomatoes look okay. That watermelon is growing grandly, and the vine now has a second bump starting to grow.

Lizardmom, the term is death by heart attack. I bet he'll be smiling though!!!

Liz, Sorry young lady. I am nearly Agoraphobic. That means I really don't go outside too much. I think I got It from my sister that lived/died In Florida. It's really a self induced problem. Really It's kinda like those commercials with the lady sitting on the sofa and the speaker says "Are you constantly depressed, just take some of this stuff" I will someday get the nerve to meet you all.

Last year we bought the hanging tomato plants and that didn't work out. It's always windy here and they kept falling to the ground. This year we put them back in the garden and between the heat and the hail storm they bit the dust as well. Did have asparagus and strawberries for a time. They were really good.
Back to the farmers market tomorrow for fresh green beans.

The term for a male cougar is a sugar daddy.

I can't believe how much I have had to water the tomatoes this year. Last year I think I watered them 3 or 4 times, the rain took care of the rest.

Ah Jed, and Huck, you crack me up :)
Orbs, if the guy doesn't have money, is he still called a sugar daddy? neither one has money, not sure the ones scoop but the others ex had a vicious lawyer and he will not have money EVER, she is seeing to that.
Cougar doesn't bother me, in movies they are to be feared, while being cute and cuddly looking :)hmm, sounds like me already LOL!

Mary, I have the upside down thing, not the single original but the free standing one that holds 3 plants, it's doing quite well actually. I was skeptical but we do not have a garden, I do not do well with plants. They're loaded with tomatoes and growing amazingly well

kk - chipmunks, wow! Froglover and I moved the pot on top of the picnic table, hopefully the little thieves will leave them alone now. I think that is what is keeping my tomatoes safe, they're in the air!

Toad, no need to worry about us, we'll always be here for you and thrilled whenever you feel comfortable enough to come visit :)
I'll keep asking, I'm sure you and Mrs. Toad will grace us with your presence one day, I will not give up hope!

A sugar daddy without money is just another dirty old man.

haha orbs :)

just got a text, made my night. in a nutshell as best as I can stuff it in, at work, we have monthly mystery shops. typically we are one of the highest scored within our company. the last couple months they have come when things weren't going quite right and we were scored accordingly. fine. my highest manager has been super strung out, Tuesday especially over it and after working with her that day, I was very ready to quit. Lunch went a little rough and she had gone nuts. well this text took the cake, we got shopped in the morning, 100%, this while she wasn't even on the floor but doing stuff in the office, I had that one in the bag :) can't be perfect all the time but man o man, after that, I feel great!
