TGIF. I am parttime (not by choice) and this week I worked every day. Got a lot accomplished though. This morning as I was leaving one of the ducks came out from the creek and to my delight, had 3 babies with her. So far it's a good day.

Here's to hoping it is a good preoccupation, Froggy!

hello all.. I took the stick shift for my first solo flight.. did alright, killed it twice, it was a little shaky at times and made the wheels squeal once.. other than that I think I did alright.. luckily it wasnt so busy, so I could take it a little easy without feeling pressure from the other drivers..

Nice job Why Not, you'll get the hang of it in no time. I must say, there is something about a woman driving a stick shift... I'm just saying, you know with the squealing tires, engines huffing, and clutches being released... it's kind of romantic. lol

I'm here, Toad. My day started out great. Had lunch with a friend. Then my truck's engine blew out all its oil and died. I have had the truck in and out of repair shops 6 times in the past two weeks. It was in one shop Wednesday. A different one yesterday. I have spent an obscene amount of borrowed money. And it just keeps having problem after problem. It's back in the shop now. I might hear something tomorrow.

Mme. Z, are you sure there is not a curse on me? Or maybe there's one on the truck? Please work your mojo for me.

Orb's, Blew out all It's oil? Like through the oil filter, or out the tail pipe? I never heard of such a thing unless It's got 20 quarts of oil In It? Strange. I hope they fix It.

Orbs, I think Sanza might be behind the curse.

wow, Jed, you made me blush...

Toad, the engine light went on and it died. I opened the hood and oil was everywhere, obviously picked up by the fan. There was a huge puddle in the street. The tires were soaked. Yesterday I had the radiator replaced. My radiator has an intercooler for the oil besides the transmission fluid. Two hoses going in and out. I assumed one of the hoses worked loose or a fitting blew. The guy who did the work was there shortly to look at it and said everything looked tight. Perhaps something else went out, but all of the oil is pouring out from the front of the track, and the only thing there is the cooling lines. It's at his shop now. I hope I hear something tomorrow.

Y'know, it's funny, drew, that you should mention that Zanza character. When I thought "curse," he was the first person I thought of.

Why Not, congrats on your stick shift abilities. Practice makes perfect. I used to like stick, but I'm too lazy now.

My dear Mr. OrbsCorbs, please do not slander the Senor. He has every right to be offended by your insinuation.

That said, oh my, I do detect a group of malignant entities that have taken a special interest in you. When I try to make contact with them telepathically, all I get is a lot of oinking and squealing. Beware. Tread lightly, but don't worry too much. I am deploying the "Chicago" countermeasures. Truth always eradicates vermin.
