"Social Security Reform Bill Encourages Americans To Live Faster, Die Younger"

From The Onion:

Finally, a Social Security reform bill that makes sense.

WARNING: Many people think this idea is morbid.

I have always been in favor of letting people have some choice in how they die. I don't want the hooked up to tubes in a hospital thing or die in my sleep. You only die once, it should be an experience.

Okay, now for the part people find morbid. I am a bit of a thrillseeker at times. When I am old, riddled with cancer or another fatal disease and about to go, take me up in a plane to 10,000 feet or so and let me go without a parachute! That's a thrilling way to go!

Although I guess I would also settle for something like choking to death at the age of 102 while attempting to undo a bra with my teeth (if you still have teeth and are using them on bras at that age, you did something right!)

You may now resume your non-morbid programming.

I'm all for allowing people dying, even with help, If they have NO Quality of life left. I don't want to live on a machine. Beyond that, I don't want the fucking Government telling me to drop dead ASAP just to avoid SS, and Medicare.

The video is from The Onion and is exactly the kind of sick humor that I find hysterically funny. Actually, I think it'd be funnier without the guy yelling m-f.
