Are You Starting to Get Nervous?

My vote was "no" for a very simple reason. When traveling in states that DO have CCW, it never crossed my mind that there were people that were packing. Never gave it a second thought.

I haven't decided if I am going to get one. I could with my military training, but I just don't see a need for me to ccw right now.

Never gave it a second thought. Many are already packing guns in my neighborhood, and they're not on "our" side. Citizens deserve the right to protect themselves.

Geee... I didn't start getting nervous until you mentioned it. Thanks.

I voted yes. I still maintain that the more guns out there, the more bullets that will be fired.

Even though you might be on my side, I don't know that I trust you to make the best decisions in the heat of a moment.

Police have a lot of training in sticky situations, concealed carriers don't. Also, the accountability they are held to for firing their gun gives them more cause to pause.

Hell, you need a permit? In Arizona, you just need a gun. Yeah, everyone can legally concealed carry in Az, no permit required.

One of the lesser known parts of the Giffords shooting is the debate over concealed carry in Az. It turns out there was someone carrying nearby. He heard the shots and came running. To his credit, he DID NOT SHOOT! By the time he got there, the shooter had been disarmed while reloading.

Good thing he kept a cool head and realized that he didn't know enough about what was going on to select the proper target...things could have been even worse.

The best take on it I have heard was from a comedian who said that guns should not be regulated. Bullets should cost $5,000.00 each. Those with intent will make darn sure where they are aiming, are skilled with gun use and will seriously think it over before pulling the trigger.

Chris Rock said that, kk. He's great.

Most states have allowed conceal carry for a long time.
