NORTHERN LIGHTS ALERT!

NOW! Go outside to a dark place, look north. If you have a camera that can do timed exposures, put it on a tripod, set it to at least 800ISO, try 15-30 second exposure with the widest angle you can manage at the lowest f/ratio (that's fastest for those in the biz) you can manage. Post pics when successful!

According to the weather underground, its clear in Racine.

Our local news was showing pictures that were coming in. He said that this area (Mke, Racine, Keno) probably has too much light pollution to see anything really worthy. We'd have to drive a bit. Some of the shots that were sent to them were very colorful and cool.
