"To the all great & knowing leaders of Racine…3 words for you"

From Racine Uncovered:

"Dear all great and all knowing leaders of Racine..

"You talk about the perception of crime in this city. After today there isn’t any perception, or isolated cases. Please tell the young man brutally attacked after school, repeatedly stomped and kicked, stabbed in the face and head, he lost his ear and was bleeding horrible, that is was just his perception. Please explain that to the 16 year old who was knock unconcious at 6th & Jones today where it seemed half the PD and RFD and Rescue were on scene, that it was just the residents perception. The US MARSHALLS ARE IN TOWN TONIGHT BUSTING BAD GUYS…. Tell the US Marshalls it’s just their perception.

"You can keep telling yourselves that is just a perception and you may believe it. But the residents of Racine are saying NO ITS REALITY.. When you tell the public it’s perception, that in my opinion is the ultimate disrepect to residents who call Racine home, doesn’t matter if they are rich or poor, young or old, and it doesn’t matter what race. EVERYONE COUNTS…

"When you say crime is a perception, you are giving in my opinion the ultimate disrespect to every law enforcement officer in Racine County who puts their lives on the line everyday protecting all of us… I have 3 words for you.

PERCEPTION….MY ASS"

Hear, hear!

Orb's, PERCEPTION Is rampant In our COUNTRY. The entire Government wants us to believe that It Is really just perception that things are slightly bad. To me PERCEPTION, and PATIENCE should both be banned from our language.

A lot of citizens in Racine are outraged and insulted by the mayor's and police chief's lies about our crime rate. I am challenged almost daily by thugs in our neighborhood. Try complaining to RPD about it and see what happens. All you have to do is read Racine Uncovered every day. Of course, our elected royalty never has to deal with any of this messy reality like the po' folk of Racine, so they don't care. I am so tired of fighting just to survive. Something has to change, and quickly.

My question is, "when are we going to get tired of the crap coming out of city hall and toss those assholes right out the door"?

Kick the sons-of-bitches to the curb!

I am shocked there are just four comments about this. Are we becoming that numb to our surroundings and complacent to the degradation of our society?

Mayhem was the best they could come up with? on school grounds no less. hey, I know! lets cut teacher salaries, Fire/lay off teachers and aides, and then make even large class sizes. This should fix everything.

This is very frightening to me for obvious reasons. Children are no longer children. They behave in a criminal fashion just like adults at amazingly young ages.

Many children have no home life, no upstanding role models, no hope of a decent future. Many, maybe the majority rely on themselves to satisfy their basic needs. Gang mentality and participation gives them a false sense of security.

We can blame, blame, bitch and bitch more about the police, the school system, the politicians... but until there are jobs available, and GUIDANCE from home and parents who are PRESENT and genuinely concerned about their offspring, this will only continue.
