Time to blow this popcicle stand!

Ok folks, it's gotten colder,
I've fallen into a funk,
it's time to blow this Popsicle stand!

I don't know who's driving,
I don't care who drives,
just get me out of here before I go crazy!
Who's with me???

I don't mind driving, but my night vision stinks, so only daylight hours for me, K?

I don't mind riding in the back making faces at the cars behind us.

Where the FUNK are you going? I didn't know the expression even really existed. I thought my family and cousins, etc. were the only ones to say that. "Well Pat, It's time to blow this popcicle stand" One of my dad's favorites, and he's been gone for 40 years. Pat was my mom.

Wow....A limo! We must be impotent.

OK I'll drive... guys....uh guys....what are you doing with that duct tape?......You know that really feels tight around my wrists. AW COMMON NOW! IF YOU'RE GONNA TAPE MY FEET TOGETHER, AT LEAST PUT MY SHOES BACK ON ME......

WAIT!!! WAIT!!! CRAYONS! WE GOTTA HAVE THE CRAYONS!

No one will rent us a bus anymore. I have no idea how lizardmom managed to get a limo.

Not to worry, I still have the crayons you gave me at the party. You guys aren't seriously going to make loggy ride in the trunk?

Please, oh, please... let me drive! I have the chauffeur's hat so that means I have dibs.

Would someone please come and get me away from the ground that has started to rock and roll this weekend. Very unnerving and I need a road trip.

A limo....SWEET! More comfy than that armored car we took in Europe. Does this mean we're not ransacking any villages this time?

Toad, a friend of mine always used to use that expression back in high school and beyond, don't know where she got it from but I always thought it funny tho I didn't really understand it.
Orbs, all I had to do is make a big pot of soup twice and I had the guy wrapped around my finger, so we got the top of the line, had to promise him cookies tomorrow... hope ya'all appreciate this :)
now let's go!

Did someone at least grab a handful of popsicles?? I promise not to spill on the leather interior.. Well I promise not to intentionally drop my popsicle on the leather interior.. I can drive later after all the popsicles are gone (if someone remembered to grab a bunch)

I can drive too! I am also good a the night driving time.

Does this limo have the hot tub in it. I hope this limo is the Hummer one then we have a lot of room in it.

I would rather have a bus. Gets to cramped in a limo bending over to get in and out and you can't stand up at all.

A Limo bus is really cool to ride in!

I call shotty, and I have a couple 5ths', so I will be very popular, and I don't come cheap, wait that doesn't sound right. Where are we going anyway?

Since I'm driving, I'm heading south... but we will sure stop by and pick up Mary. I am so glad to hear that you are okay and able to still connect to the www. I was worried about you when I heard the news reports! That was amazing to see that much destruction your way!

Beejay said...

You gonna pick me up, kk?

Mary, Were you In bed when the rocking started?

Toad
I was sleeping when the first one hit Saturday morning around 2:00 a.m. Gary said it sounded like a military helicopter flying over the house and then the handles on the dressers started shaking.
Saturday night I had just sat down with my glass of wine when I heard "a helicopter noise" so I muted the tv. The next thing I knew the house was shaking and the floor felt like it was rolling underneath. And so loud. The weird thing is, you hear it before you feel it. I seriously don't want to go through that again. And I have to say that even though a number of aftershocks have occurred, I haven't felt any of them.
There is an amusing video out on you tube of one of the guys from ESPN who had called the OSU game and was being questioned by one of the guys in New York. His eyes say it all. Deer in the headlights so to speak which is probably what we all looked like Saturday night.
And on top of everything else, we are expected to get strong storms tonight which may cause tornadoes.
Earthquakes, tornadoes WTH!

Get Mary out of the earthquake zone and Beejay out of the snake zone, and then head for Alcalpulco.

Since this ia a JTI road trip, we can have anything we want. Our limo has a hot tub, a wet bar, and a flat screen TV.

I've programmed the epicenter of the quake and beejay's address into the Garmin and we are on the road. Is Cancun okay with you orbs, I can't spell Acupukoo? hehehehehe.

Buckle up, babies, we're in for a ride!

OrbsCorbs said...

I had to spell check it.

I don't care where we go, I'm just along for the ride. Pardon me while I wash my socks in the hot tub.

OKIE said...

Oh it will be so good to get away.

lizardmom said...

watch those pot holes, yikes, crayons flying everywhere, duck!!!!!!!
and orbs, put your pants back on, it's not nice to moon Amish folks, you just freaked out the horses!

Tender Heart Bear said...

Orbs I didn't know that the hot tub was washing machine for you and please keep your pants on.

I am glad we are going somewhere that is really nice and warm. I don't like this damp cold weather.

Beejay I hope Biggie D is coming with us too.

Were we suppose to bring a change of clothes? I only brought the 5ths and a toothbrush.

Tender Heart Bear said...

Jed we are going to have to stop and get you some body spray.

I brought some Mike's too!

It is so nice to get away with some friend's.

OKIE said...

Tornados to the west and the earth was shaking again last night. I need to get far far away....

jedwis said...

Poor Mary, you've been "a rocking & a rollin" lately. Please be careful and stay safe.

kkdither said...

If the house is a rockin'..... yikes. Sorry, Mary. We are worried about you!

I didn't mind the sock washing so much, but the undies? There better not be anything floating in that water!!!

Why Not? said...

I'm still waiting for the popsicles.... on the other hand never mind now, must be what that hot blue colored stain is on the interior.. ah well, pass me a Mikes then..

Orbs I say if you need to go pantless then go for it.. I cannot guarantee that I wont be at some point.. dont you hate pants..

Jed you remembered your toothbrush?!? I have a little peppermint schnapps that I thought I would just freshen up with from time to time..

jedwis said...

OK, Who was in charge of getting the popcicles for Why Not? Wait was it me? I thought I was just going to be the bartender...Umm Why Not pass the schnapps please, I thought I brought a toothbrush, but gee looky here, it's nailclippers, pretty close though. lol

OKIE said...

Are we there yet?

OrbsCorbs said...

Mooning the locals is half the fun of these road trips.

Gee, everyone is always telling me to put my pants on.

I think we're there, Mary, maybe even a little past there.
