I'm helping my sister put up a live Christmas tree at her place this afternoon. This has to be my first live tree since childhood. I told her to get a Frasier fir if she can. I want to come home smelling nice.

I gave up on real trees here in Sweden.. They are so sad, they make the Charlie Brown Christmas tree look good.. They made me sad cause you would see every wire for the lights.. so I found a decent looking fake tree and fill it out with green garland and it's ok.. I do miss the smell though..

Why Not? we have a fake tree here. So what I do is get a pine candle and lite that to get the pine smell in the house. It does smell just like a real pine tree.

Thats a good tip.. will have to look around.. Sweden is not really big on the scented candles.. but there are certain stores that carry yankee candles.. thanks, I dont know why I didnt think of that..

Hey, toad. I asked that as well. I hear he is posting elsewhere. Maybe we offended him? I hope not.

The weekend. Need I say more? Over 9000 steps so far on my pedometer today. Most of them vertical. Egad. Better behave, I'll get you in a wrestling leg lock move.....and have you begging for mercy.

KK, As long as he Is OK, I guess It's OK If he doesn't want to post here. Everybody for one reason or another get irritated from time to time, but they seem to come back eventually. God only know's and he isn't sure.

I heard that Huck is posting on the Journal Times' personal blog pages. He's done that before, posted there for awhile, then posted here, then back. And maybe elsewhere, too. Who knows.

I don't recall anything here that would tick him off.
