Venus and the Moon

Just had to post a few pics of Venus and the Moon tonight. These were taken around Tucson from a couple of different locations over the course of an hour or so as I was running errands, grocery shopping, etc. Enjoy.

Gorgeous. You have 'big sky' country there.

We've been getting some spectacular sights of Jupiter in the western sky after sunset... at least I think it is Jupiter. It is so bright and large.

Venus is in the west after sunset, kk. Jupiter is high in the south about sunset.

Jupiter sets little after midnight, so if you look later in the evening (11 or so) you will see Jupiter low in the west.

Thanks for straightening me out. I love looking, it is so beautiful... I'm just not always sure of what I'm seeing.
