Anything to deflect attention away from the actual financial condition of the City, various lawsuits against the City, and the lack of action in controlling the spending of a City Council and Mayor who are out of control.

The Mayor claims is it an "Unwinnable Situation" IT IS - FOR HIM.
Time for the Mayor to step aside and let someone, like Eric Marcus, in who can gain VICTORY for the City and Taxpayers. The Dickert Administration stands in the way of progress and victory. They have already confessed to being DEFEATED.

Time for a new Mayor who can snatch VICTORY from the jaws of the DEFEATED Mayor Dickert.
The "GOING DARK IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE" certainly could be construed at racist, but I would like to know WHERE the rest of the money the City received from the FED'S for LIGHTING, went? Also, The constant attacks of Alderman Sheilds are ridiculous at best.

Racist? How? Certainly the statement can be understood in many lights. How did the Author of those words mean it? That phrase had special meaning to the Author based upon his understanding of the City's situation.
Do you know the Author of those words?
Do you know what the Author perceives as the problems of the City of Racine?
Does the Author of those words have a record of being Racist, or making Racist comments?
HMMM, taken in context, those thoughts were not meant to be Racist - but then, I know the Author. I have seen his website - and there is nothing Racist on it.
In fact - the Author is highly CRITICAL of the WHITE leaders of the City of Racine, and believes that it is the WHITE leaders who are the problem.
I know this for certain.
Let's look at the man who made the allegations - what is Alderman Greg Heldings record?
His record is that of bringing charges against a Black Man who - it turns out - was not in violation of the Ordinance that Alderman Helding tried to charge him with. Alderman Heldings charges were dismissed as a "Technicality" Also - the circumstances that Alderman Helding brought those charges under - well, it seems to me that Alderman Fairs' Civil Rights might have been violated.

Also, there continues to be a lack of events at the Racine Civic Centre – VenuWorks promises “Fulfilling Promises, Creating Success” – will it ever be able to deliver?
The Mayor seriously underestimates the impact his mil rate increase will have on the growing Hispanic Community in Racine and will discover, to his dismay, that they will become a political force to be reckoned with and won’t get on the Democratic Plantation like the African-American Community.
The lawsuits against the City will finally have to be dealt with. This, coupled with all the above will bring an end to the Dickert Administration. Will he face charges like Rod Blagojevich?
No matter what happens in the Recall, the results will be phyrric. Capitol has been misallocated and squandered – Citizens and businesses looted and plundered, the economic cliff approaches. If any local major employers leave – it will be the final nail in the coffin. Dickert has set Racine up for economic collapse and the State will have to appoint an Emergency Financial Manager.
Meanwhile if the SWPL crowd gets an ice skating rink downtown, a River Taxi, and a new restaurant on the Root River all the problems in the City will disappear. "

The author of those words, during Keith Fair's arrest, was highly critical of the WHITE Sheriff of Racine, and claimed that the Sheriff, by calling Alderman Fair "delusional" was violating Mr. Fairs rights and should be sued.
The Author was highly critical of the RPD's treatment of the people involved in their Ruth's Beauty Shop bust.
The Author wants Thomas Holmes to run for Alderman - and said so on the JT website, for which he was criticized.
The author would like to see Mr. Fair and Mr. Holmes sue the City for their abusive actions against them.
I know all this - and more - because the Author is me.

In fact, in my postings as ENICAR333 on the JT, I have repeatedly pointed out that WHITE people like Donald Nuttall, George Machado and John Dickert have received FAR DIFFERENT treatment than Keith Fair or Thomas Holmes, which in my opinion, is Race-based.
Upon hearing that Keith Fair had been arrested - the Racine City Attorney and Greg Helding called for Keith Fair to be removed from office immediately, I pointed out a GAB ruling that said he needed to be convicted first.
WHY was Greg Helding and the City Attorney so quick to throw out Keith Fair, in violation of the GAB ruling - and NOT John Dickert?
The only difference I can see is Black and White.
Why did Sheriff Schmaling go out of his way and apply a medical diagnosis upon Keith Fair, and label him "DELUSIONAL"? Is the Sheriff a M.D., or was he practicing medicine without a license.
In FACT - the Sheriff, IMO, tainted any possibility of a fair trial for Keith Fair and needs to be investigated.

Anonymous, Do YOU understand the meaning of "COULD BE CONSTRUED"? Could being the key word. NO I don't know the author, thus you are correct that this person may not have meant this to be a racist statement. The statement still leaves room for question, and In my comment I did NOT attack the author of the statement, like YOU did me. From this point forward do me a favor, and talk to yourself.
I was reading the Government Accountability Board site, thinking about making a complaint:
"By statute, with limited exceptions, all aspects of, and records related to, an investigation are confidential. The Board’s staff may acknowledge the existence of a complaint only if the complainant makes it public. All actions by the Board take place in closed session."
It's all done in secret, and they can choose whether or not to make their decision public. WTF is this? They're the "accountability" board, but they meet in hiding? What a fucked up world of liars and lies. The pprkliticians have us screwed every which way.
Speaking of, ain't Helding something? Nose permanently ensconced in the anus of the mayor. You'd think it would be hard to breathe and walk and talk like that, but he does it so well.

Interesting, a white man accusing another white man of Racism - based on nothing but a few words - when the accuser has acted out Racism in his ACTIONS against Keith Fair. ACTIONS, in my book, speak louder than words, and Can't be misconstrued.
Let us see who else has accused the City of Racine government, which would include Alderman Helding and Mayor Dickert, of RACISM.

OOOH- that's right! They're NOT SWPL. How would THEY know what RACISM is? How could their accusations POSSIBLY be true - when you have to "CONSIDER THE SOURCE" - RIGHT - City of Racine officials? Is only SWPL Alderman Helding a good judge of RACISM?
Maybe we should ask SWPL Sheriff Schmaling - why all black men who claim Racism are "DELUSIONAL". He said it himself. I'm satisfied then.

Butt Snorkel is pretty funny to me.
I was just reading the Journal Times story about Asst DA Rich Chiapete being the only applicant for the Racine DA job. My first thought was, "I have to get out of this city." So depressing. It's an abomination that his old boss is now a judge. It just never ends. It must be the caliber of people who seek public office in Racine. Has it always been this crooked?
Humor and depression are my only shields against the onslaught of thuggery on Racine's streets and in City Hall.
Thanks for the compliment, Toad. My humor is dark. Sometimes I say things that I bust my own gut over. The best ones, like poetry, I don't think come from me. It's more like channeling a source of humor. It just pops into my head. Sometimes I've spit up whatever I'm drinking or eating when a joke comes to mind.
Anyway, it's a defense mechanism, I know, for otherwise I would be crying all of the time.
One Caveat, however. I used this forum to explain my words - so they could be seen in the light of their proper context.
Mayor Dickert - well, he is suing himself, the City of Racine, demanding the taxpayers pay for what he said on a radio interview while campaigning.
Mayor Dickert is right. Taxpayers -Racine is a lost cause, and you will lose every time. He said so. There is NO will of the people to replace him - so you will suffer - and like it.
Businesses and Residents have listened - and are fleeing. HEY, Alderman Helding, Mr. PC POLICE - Citizens of ALL colors are fleeing Racine - and abandoning Businesses and Homes - and it's not because I told them to - you made them.
Racine, like it's Big Brother, Detroit, will financially collapse and have an Emergency Manager appointed.
It will happen in Detroit in 2012 -they are almost there. It will happen in Racine in 2013.
It is unwinnable.

Anonymous, Thanks for the "OK guy" comment. BTW, I mean no Ill Will toward you, I just look at things as a whole, and spit out what I'm thinking. Sometimes It comes out prior to thinking. I totally understand the frustration amongst the people of Racine that care, but POLITICS Is not a pretty game, and we elect these people, and until we find someone else to moan about were stuck with them. They HONESTLY (their ONLY honest characteristic) don't care what we think.
Orb's, My problem Is the same. I need the humor, or I have no idea what would happen. Dark humor really shouldn't be funny, but for me It's by far the best. Lot's of people just don't get It. It's the spontaneous things that are really fun. Few people have the wit to ALWAYS have the QUICK retort.
I think politics are dirty everywhere. I think when all other institutions are failing, like what is happening in Racine, it just makes the dirty politics more evident. I resort to finding something humous as well, or you will really go crazy.
