We're down to our last full day at the summer house today.. Wish the weather was better for our trip, we didnt get to go swimming one day.. Cold and rain the whole time.. Well actually yesterday was ok a little cold but sunny we got to the beach but only to dig in the sand.. From what I see it looks like when we get back home the temps should get up in the mid to high 70s (hoping hoping hoping) it would be nice to not have to go out with a jacket on.. ugh Swedish summers are like the winters (they suck)..

We got so excited about the prospect of 70 degree weather that we promised the girls that we could fill up their little plastic pool if it gets so warm.. pretty pathetic really.

Anyways off to start the day, going into Varberg today to look around. I have taken some pictures of the area around here thought I would share them when I got back and went through them.. it's a beautiful area.. Take it easy, enjoy your Monday..

Sounds like a chilly trip Why Not. Being a Royal nerd, I've watched the Queens Jubilee celebrations and noticed a lot of people wearing winter coats - in June. Strange.
And now I have to report I was at Hobby Lobby on Saturday, June 30 where I saw Christmas Decorations going up. Geez!
Have a great Monday everyone; I'm on vacation.

wow, I didn't know we were going into a full moon Monday, official or not, it was a beautiful, full, orange moon at 3am. After I got done enjoying the prettiness of it, I got down to the dread of what it does to people and they didn't disappoint today...

Keep dancing, SER. We need lots of it. I stepped outside and the heat and humidity level is already nuts.

Just got a message from beejay. She is around, but can't seem to post to the JTI??? Keeps getting a message that the service is not available. Should we tell her we've deleted her account? hehehehe

This weather Is really something. The Parade should be a hoot. I remember how we could alway's rely on being cooked by the sun on the FOURTH of July. I kinda remember rain ONCE. I hate heat. I want to switch places with Why Not?

So sorry, Why Not. Every kid deserves at least a dip in a wading pool.

I think the 4th is going to be nuts, too. All that heat and all those people, many of them drinking. Thank you, RPD, in advance for working on the 4th. I hope you get triple-time.

I forgot to say, my tomatoes are doing great. They love the sun and heat. I have to water them a lot.

I put my tomatoes in very late. It should be December before they are ready. (Actually, they seem to be catching up with all this heat.)

Do I get to claim last?
Set another record in MN. Hottest day since 1911. Did we unbalance something by moving here?
Orbs.. we went to N Wi for a couple days last week. Came home to 4 yellow cherry tomatoes and 2 red 4th of July tomatoes. :) Have onions and jalopenos popping too. I love summer!
