We are heading towards 100 again by the end of the week. The problem is our area lakes (water supply) are getting warmer which means very little cold water. Makes for a very quick shower let me tell you.

Hot showers, Mary? We'd die for those in the winter. Thank goodness the lake is so big here. Our water stays very cool.

The weather guys are admitting that we will be over 100 today. At 9 am it is already 89 and the dew point is at 70. We are in for a steamy one, folks. Please do whatever you can to stay cool.

I'm not leaving the house, the heat has beat my hiney, had to cave to go to the dr yesterday for a unrelenting heat rash, now on steroids -woo hoo! off work today so I can stay put and stay cool and get a handle on this crud.
It's sad, many area small ponds are all dried up and nothing but tall grass, we need rain and we need much cooler temps or we'll be baked into oblivion, geesh!
I feel like we're part of a sinister recipe - bake at 100 degrees for 10 or more days, season to taste...

I like that recipe idea, lizardmom.

I've got jed's fifth.

Weather Underground says 99.7 out there. I have to go run errands. Hope I don't melt.

Hey, mini chick... have you seen any northern lights up there? I see pictures all over the internet, some from Wisconsin. I've been out every night, looking, and nothing here! :(

99.7 under ground? yikes, we're cooked above ground for sure then :)

yeah, like the .7 makes the difference, today is in the water, not on the water!
