Don't know who Mr. Willis is.
Tuesdays food for thought:
In 1887 Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh, had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years prior:
"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government.

A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship."

"The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years.

During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:

From bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage."

We are now somewhere between apathy and dependence.

Bondage and Tyranny is right around the corner , kind of gives you a warm feeling.........NOT

Now I wait for bedtimegames.

Happy tuesdays friends and enjoy the day

I am a student of history and a forcaster of the future.
I have taken my teachings from Mme. Zoltar.

Through her chrystal ball I now telepath my Pysic abilities for all to read.

I come from the land of Plenty, and that's from where Charlie is from also.
You know me from your past.

I see it's now coming back to you, yes you do remember

Charlie say's "love my good and plenty", Charlie says, "It really rings a bell", Charlie says, "love my good and plenty, don't know any other candy that I love so well".

My journey has been long.
Traveling on the sailing ship called earth, with the destination of destiny. Enjoy the ride!

As a note, today is the 15th; do you know what that means?

That means tomorrow is the 16th and for as long as I can remember the 16th always comes after the 15th and I have no idea why…!

Mary, when you work with teenagers, your sense of smell is heightened. You aren't alone.... I smell it too. Just too busy to do too much scrubbing.

Have a good day out there, irregulars. Stay safe.

Happy birthday Maia, a big 4 years old. How exciting, have a great day!

Now to address the writings of andromodo77.

Anybody that plagiarizes my plagiarized work in the writing of government is ok with me.

I often wondered how Mme. Z made her fortune, when you were her student, did you pay her in latinum? Inquiring minds want to know?
