"Sex Offender Placement Moved Because It's Too Close to Victim"

From Mount Pleasant Patch:

"The state Department of Health Services confirmed Wednesday that convicted sex offender Michael Fink will not be moved to a home on Lathrop Avenue in Manree Park.

"In an email to Patch, DHS spokeswoman Claire Smith said the reason Fink's release is being relocated is because one of his victims lives in the area.

"'I can confirm that we will not be placing Mr. Fink at the location that was proposed,' she wrote. 'We make every effort to ensure that individuals who are placed in the community are not placed near their victims. Had we known that a victim lived within a block or two, we would not have chosen that location.'

"A public information meeting had been scheduled for Thursday at Fratt School to help explain to neighborhood residents the conditions of Fink's release from Sand Ridge Secure Treatment Center, where he has been since 2008. That meeting is canceled now that Fink's placement is being re-evaluated."

Orb's, "Sand Ridge" Is OUR special Treatment Center In Mauston. They call It a Treatment Center knowing these people "CANNOT be fixed" I wanted to write about this yesterday, when I saw It, because I have alway's believed that when they built this place, they told us the people could NOT be released to the area they committed the crime. I would like to know HOW In hell did this happened?

I heard about this on the news last night. From what they said, I find it hard to believe that he is being placed in the community at all, being a multiple offender. Not only did he threaten the victim that he would come after her again, he threatened to go after her daughter. He sounded way too likely to repeat yet again.

What to do with sex offenders is becoming more of an issue as more of them are identified.

Like, SER, i believe that they belong in the ground, but that's not going to happen soon.

The disturbing part to me is they can’t be cured!

Case in point, look at Gary Becker, asshole goes to a ladies store to buy underwear while out on bail…..

A good way to cure them, is to take them to a place like Bong Recreational Area and castrate them with an extremely sharp razor, just zip it off leaving about a ¼ inch then let them walk for help…!

SER, Bail is so they can offend again, and again, and again.
Lucky for the victim that the error was caught before Fink was released.
