"Why Your Phone, Cable & Internet Bills Cost So Much"

So, money was allocated to internet service providers to expand and upgrade our country's internet service, but they did something else with the money, maybe, or it just disappeared. I've heard numerous times that overseas internet connection speeds far surpass ours.

In Germany even their phone service is super fast.

The guy we were working with carried a phone, if you called his office it would send it to his portable phone and we could go to a resturant a couple miles away and it would still work.

Not like are wireless home phones by the time you get to the corner is lost connection.

We have what is basically called the bottom of the barrel internet connection and that is 8Mbps we are getting upped to 16 at the end of the month but that is now the most basic internet connection here.. I know you can get 200Mbps in certain areas having 100Mbsp is not all that uncommon.. I would say most people from average homes have about 32Mbps.. we pay about 30 dollars a month for our internet and telephone service. I get annoyed going back to the States because the internet connection at least at my parents is incredibly slow..
