West Side Story - "Cool"

Don't ask me why this one popped into my head, because I have no idea.

When the movie West Side Story came to Racine, my sister went to see it.   My father was outraged when he found out.  He kept calling it "that gang movie."  She tried to tell him that it was based on Romeo and Juliet, but he wouldn't have any of it.  To him, it was a film glorifying gangs. That was that.  I don't know if he even read anything about the movie.
