Some More Wildflowers!

I know I have not posted any wildflowers in awhile I am sorry for that. I thought tonight I would post a few for everyone to enjoy.

This is a White Coneflower the picture was taken at Chiwaukee Prairie Reserve in Pleasant Prairie Wi.

This is a Purple Coneflower this picture was taken at Prichard Park in Racine Wi.

This is a Common Daylily this picture was taken in Bancroft Wi.

This is a Indian Blanket this picture was taken at Chiwaukee Prairie Reserve in Pleasant Prairie Wi.

This is a Trumpet Creeper this was taken on 3 Mile Rd in Racine Wi.

I picked these flowers because I thought they are some of my prettier flowers. I really enjoy going out and taking the pictures and I really hope everyone enjoys them. More to come soon!

Those are some beautiful pictures and beautiful flowers. Your photos remind me of the pictures in horticulture textbooks. Thank you for posting them.

Indian Blanket is one of my favorite flowers. Trumpet creeper is aggressive and will take over just about anything. It's very pretty if you keep it in place.

The purple coneflower one with the muted leaves in the background is gorgeous. You seem to have an eye for nice pictures.

The trumpet creeper has beautiful flowers. I didn't know it grew so voraciously.

The white coneflowers are hard to hard. Seeing them are a personal treat.

I really love the way the Indian Blankets look.

Wisconsin has some beautiful wild flower and they are illegal to pick.

Yes the Trumpet Creepers very aggressive flowers, I mainly find them climbing up electric poles around town.

SER you are right about it being illegal to pick wild flowers in this state. I believe if you are caught picking wild flowers the fine is up to a thousand dollars. I even seen the sign at Richard Bong State Recreational Area.

The White Coneflower is one of the rarest out of them. I am looking for one more of the rare Coneflowers it is called the Mexican Hat it looks so beautiful I just would love to see it once.

I would just like to thank everyone for the real nice comments on here. I will be posting more of my pictures real soon!

Daddy Orbs- Thank you for letting us know about that. Drew said he already knew about it and we just have to stay on the trails and we should be alright. We do check for any ticks before we get into the car to come home. We will make sure we are very careful out there.
