Mary- I hope you don't freeze to much.

We are getting ready to go up north for out Grandson's first birthday party is tomorrow. On the news it says possible snow up there this weekend and I do not like that word at all. But that will not stop us from going up there for his birthday. I just can't believe he is one year old. I will have pictures to come when we get back Sunday!

Legal or anyone else - where is a good place to go for perch fish fry on Fridays?

I am sad today as I came upon the realization that I won't get to hear lawn mowers for a while as the grass has quit growing. Although I didn't give that answer on one of Drew's blogs, I really do love the sound of lawn mowers in the morning. Makes the day come alive. Sigh.......

I had the much ballyhooed fish fry from the Yardarm Bar & Grill a few weeks ago. I was not impressed, especially at that price. Cliff's Boathouse for me.

Legal, we went to Dover Inn once... misread the limited menu and asked about something that wasn't 'allowed' that particular night, wow, we got the evil glare of an angry waitress , and it was a slow night... geesh, don't you dare ask about something that's available on a different night than you go or else!

I agree with orbs, not impressed with the Yardarm or their prices. Milwaukee Ale House has a great cod fish fry. Their micro beers are also great. St. Francis Brewery also has a good fish fry, and their micro beer is okay. If you want to go further into Milwaukee, Klinger's on Locust Street can't be beat for their fish. Their atmosphere is more tavern-ish, though.
