What are the words that City of Racine Officials fear the most?

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.”

– Martin Luther King, Jr.

And that is because if City of Racine Officials were judged by their character and not by their White skin and political power, they would be revealed as lacking in the six Pillars of Character – Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship.

Thomas Holmes owner of Park 6 Racine WI. speaking at a Racine Common Council meeting after winning his appeal.

Complaint against Racine.

I love that video of Holmes.

In federal court , I believe that Holmes will prevail.

We all know Keith Fair is no angel, but has been rung thru the ringer in court without getting a trial. Does that sound familiar to any of you?

Racine is currently involved in 2 Federal Lawsuits that I am aware of - one involving Lt. AL Days of the Racine Police Department:

Days v. City of Racine, ED Wisconsin Case No. 13 CV 390

And one involving a Roy Anderson who is alleging excessive force.

Anderson v. Guardiola et al, ED Wisconsin 13 CV 995

Both the City and The JT have been quiet on these, however these cases ARE a cost to taxpayers right now! Is it of significance that both Plaintiffs are African-American? I don't know.

When the cases are settled will the results be publicly acknowledged?

Recommendation of the Finance and Personnel Committee on 1-13-14:

Permission be granted to the City Attorney to represent officers Guardiola, Pomeroy and Forsman (nee: Cronin) in the lawsuit,Roy Anderson v Sgt. Guardiola, et al, US District Court Eastern District Case No. 13-CV-995.

Subject: (Direct Referral) Communication from the Deputy City Attorney wishing to convene in closed session to discuss, with the Finance and Personnel Committee, strategy with respect to litigation in which the City of Racine is or is likely to become involved, specifically Days v. City of Racine, ED Wisconsin Case No. 13 CV 390.
