Four for Fridays

Hello everybody and welcome back! Do I feel spring in the air? I hope so... I think we are all getting a little sick of winter. Anyways... here are your questions....

1) When do you think the ice will finally melt on Lake Michigan?

2) Would you ever take a Polar Bear plunge?

3) If you found a $100 bill on the ground what would you do with it?

4) What is your stance on hunting?

Enjoy your weekend!

I'll Start.

1. When will the Ice Melt - June.

2. Would I take the polar bear plunge - not just no, hell no.

3. What would I do if I found $100. Try to find who lost it, but hope I could keep it. :}

4. Hunting - if it is done legally I have no problem with it.

Thanks Drew.

1. May 10th.

2. Not In this life, unless It was to save a life. Dog's and Cat's included.

3. Put It In my pocket, unless I saw It fall from someone else.

4. Personally I don't like hunting, unless the person NEEDS the food, but due to population explosion, too many people interfering with the natural environment makes hunting a necessary evil In some cases.

1) it will be in May!

2) No

3) If I seen it fall out of someones pocket or purse I would give it back.

4) What I think is right is if you are hunting to feed you family alright but if you are just hunting for the fun of it I am against it.

Have a great weekend!

1. June 15.
2. Well, in FL, i don't think it counts.
3. Unless I knew who it belonged to, I'd bank it.
4. While two of my brothers are hunters and I grew up in a hunting family, I couldn't shoot anything.

1. I'll agree with Toad and go with the middle of May. I think once it starts to melt, it goes fairly quickly due to the wave motion.
2. No thank you.
3. Hold it in safe keeping to see if it is reported missing. I once returned a business bank envelope with at least 10,000 cash and many checks.
4. I eat meat, and know about herd overpopulation and starvation, so I see how people justify it. But... all that said, I still don't understand the thrill of the kill. To me, it is gory.

1) The ice will never completely melt again until the current ice age passes. The polar vortex has us in its grip. It'll be centuries.

2) I'd like to see the "Polar Vortex Plunge," where people wearing only their bathing suits and a parachute jump out of planes over the North Pole.

3) If it was obvious who lost it, I'd return it; otherwise, in my pocket.

4) I've never hunted, but I grew up next door to a family of hunters. One of them was my best childhood buddy. I don't have a problem with hunting. I've never fired a gun, either, but I learned respect for firearms from them.

Thank you, drew. May the Spring be with you.

1) I'm hoping by mid April...

2) No way...

3) Like everyone here would do. If no one has a claim to it, I'd bank it.

4) I don't hunt, but my dad does as well as many of my co-workers. Like Toad said, hunting is a necessary evil to control animal populations. If they within the hunting laws that are applied, I'm cool with it.

1. July...
2. not on your life
3. I have a few things I would buy for myself normally, stuck them on an amazon wish list, probably get a couple of them if no owner is found
4. animals are yummy, but if someone just shoots for 'sport' and doesn't use the animal, makes no logical sense to me, just seems senselessly cruel
