"Ethics"

From Root River Revitalization:

 "As you may know County Supervisor Osterman is being brought up on Ethics chargers over his actives over Root River and Rootworks. 7 counts with a large amount of documentation

"This was filed Yesterday by The Racine Equality Project with the County with if my understanding is right also asking the D.A. for charges

"If given a web site to the large fillings/video I was given at Yesterday’s Press event or the Document in Word I will be posting them here too.

"Of course the Journal-Times has nothing on this as of this date after all the way I see Racine the J-T is not writing copy but that is being given to them as in what will and will not be printed and allowed to be printed."

Why is The City of Racine talking about the use of Eminent Domain to condemn the property of a resident and forcibly take that property?

Why is The City of Racine removing properties from the tax rolls, when it claims it's stated goal is to increase the tax base?

$13,000+ in lost property taxes will be shifted to others to pay - yet Racine City Hall cries it is broke and The City of Racine experiences more than 1 foreclosure a day and the highest unemployment rate in Wisconsin.

John DIckert ripped out residents street lights, now he wants to spend $$$ to put in 1/2 block of Bike Trail, add streetlights, park benches and garbage cans - across the street from the former Whitman Publishing Co. There is no valid reason for doing this.

Marty Defatte is selling the property, and asking for an amount in excess of it's assessed value.

It's questionable at all levels.

This whole thing is a scam!!!

The Mayor's friends get special favors and special treatment, rigged deals, and pay offs.

The rest of the community gets to pay for it, and gets attacked if they question anything.

THIS IS COLLUSION. THIS IS CORRUPTION. IT IS DISGUSTING.

The more you read and look into this, the shadier and more crooked it appears.

Why does the Osterman name continue to pop up in all these questionable transactions?

It is not just some vendetta by the online community, as was originally claimed during the local tv takeover. Their peers are beginning to come forward publicly and question their motives, their inside knowledge and actions.

After the last fiasco, I question the ethics of our ethics board in making correct findings.

The city's ethics Board should be brought up on charges to the county board, or whomever is their boss.
