Four for Fridays

Hello everyone and welcome back! This has been a crazy week... Busy, busy at work plus the humid weather. I'm looking forward to the weekend. Anyways, your questions...

1) Which TV shows do you watch reruns of?

2) What musician do you consider an icon?

3) Would you be willing to do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge?

4) Are you ready for the football season?

Enjoy your weekend!

1. I am a Seinfeld freak. If it comes on, I can't turn it off.
2. There are so many. David Gilmour changed music, so he comes to mind.
3. If I was presented with the opportunity to make a lot of money for a cause, I probably would. I think this bucket challenge has just about run its course. People are doing it for the wrong reasons. What the real issue is, and bothers me the most, is that we don't do a better job of collaboratively funding research into cures for terminal and debilitating illnesses, and people are left to silly gimmicks to raise money.
4. Football, baseball, hockey, golf... it is all the same to me- background tv noise. I do watch a little of the Packer games. I've even been known to even get a little excited... at times.

Thanks for the questions, drew. Enjoy your weekend.

1) Which TV shows do you watch reruns of?
A: I have breakfast with Wally and The Beav every morning.
2) What musician do you consider an icon?
A: I try not to idolize entertainers.

3) Would you be willing to do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge?
A: I thought is was cool (get it) at first but now I'm on the fence. It's a great promotional idea and several of my friends have done it. But I hope I don't get nominated. First, I'm a little short on cash right now, and second, I have other causes I donate to. My mom had ALZ so I donate to that.

4) Are you ready for the football season?
A: Hell Yeah!!! Packers scrimmage tonight.
I was thinking about going to the Raiders/Threat game tomorrow night. We'll see what the weather's like.

2. Tough question. I'll say Bruce.

3. I don't know. I do believe it has raised more awareness about this nasty disease.

4. Oh yeah. We get to see the game tonight. Brats for dinner.

Thanks Drew

1) I would have to say Little House on the Prairie and I am getting Drew into The Walton's.

2) There are a few for me and they would be Randy Owen from the band Alabama, Bruce Springsteen, Pat Benatar and Geddy Lee from the group Rush.

3) For me no. I am not afraid of the water the reason for me is how do we know that the money is actually going to go for the cause or not. I would do it if I knew that the money was going straight for the cause. Also this is just getting way out of control everyone is posting this on Facebook too.

4) Yes I a because I am in fantasy football again with the other JTI's in our league.

Dodgeboy you should join are fantasy football league.

Have a great weekend everyone!

1) Been watching The Waltons much lately. Nicely written show.

2) So many to chose from... The comments here echo a statement. Paul McCartney is definitely one. I'd throw in Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Mick Jagger.

3) If I had a wetsuit and some money to donate, I'd do it...

4) Yeah, sort of....

1. I love MeTV, and those are all 'reruns' of favorite shows of the past - Dragnet, Adam 12, Emergency, The Big Valley, Bonanza, and coming Sept 1st - CHiPs, SO EXCITED!
2. I can't believe no one said Elvis, he was the 1st to come to mind!
3. I'd rather now, I have crazy skim issues, tho the cause is good and we have a friend who has ALB. Issues I'd like to see more awareness and help with are depression that ultimately took my nephew and MS, which has affected at least 5 people I know, yet we know little about either.
4. I will watch if "WE're" playing (Packers), especially if it's against the Bears, especially now, out of honor for my nephew who was a huge Bears fan, still loved him anyways :)
