Cold is relevant!

It is 52 degrees right now in Southwest Florida.  To me, this is the equivalent of your ten degree days!  On top of that, there is WIND!  Add, a bit of rain and it is just plain miserable!  I'm frozen!

Now, if I were smart, I'd hang around here for a day or so and the temps would nice again.  You know, about 78 degrees, approaching the low 80s by the weekend.  Nope, we are heading to SC where the low was 19 degrees this morning.  Average for the next week will be in the 40s.  Oh, heavenly days, what were we thinking!

That is the same exact weather we are having.

Sorry, but the only sympathy I have is for the people on the east coast who are getting 20 inches of snow.

Lordy that's a lot of snow.

Was 37 here when I woke up but got up to about 70 this afternoon. Can get chilly and we will have some days in the winter that don't make 60 and a rare one that doesn't make 50 but I will take this over farther north!

Wish I could say I feel for ya.... but right now, my toes are blue. It is ridiculously cold out there.

I know temperature is relative to what you are accustomed. I spent a couple of weeks during the winter in Frisco many years back. I took my coat off on the way off of the plane, as it felt so nice. As I was there, I began to start to feel the cold seep into my bones.

What's the old saying, "It's colder then a well diggers ass".
