"Good-bye, Testicles"

Thank God that Whitman (Western Publishing) was there to educate children about this procedure.

That has to be a valuable book? I'm going to have to keep my eye's open.

It's gotta be a Photoshop. I think if you said the word "testicles" out loud in the 50's, you could face an obscenity charge.

And what do Jack and Jill have to do with it? They're pictured on the cover.

Oh no... not the famous Whitman books. I used to love going to the boat house. I have a bunch of their books stashed away. Have baby - will read.

i was actually named after a Whitman Little Golden book. My mother loved the name of the girl in the book. Mr. D. found a copy of this very old book my mother read to my sisters before I was born. It is on a shelf in my bedroom. (thanks, biggie!)

Mr. D is always on the hunt for such books, kk. He loves the challenge. Sometimes they are already in his bookstore, sometimes we haunt thrift shops and flea markets on the quest to find these treasures. It's a fun thing.

Beejay, When I was REALLY into collecting the little pamphlets that food manufactures gave away for free, I would have to crawl on my hands and knees to look. Everything I wanted was ALWAY'S on the bottom shelf In Antique stores. For some reason Cookbooks, are alway's on the bottom. It took over 15 years to finally get Miss Minerva's "Way to a Man't Heart" cookbook. It's written In all Ebonics. I almost never find anything anymore. I was looking In a Kipi from Classmates last night, and I saw a graduation photo of the little Blonde. Don't bother asking what year, I won't tell. Ha, Ha.
