A friend of mine, a very nice young man of 24 was gunned down by his girlfriend, or whatever the fuck she was just after midnight last night In Necedah. That's the other B.F. EGYPT In the area, or should I say one of them. It just absolutely devastates me. He was such a good guy. Worked hard, and tried to do everything right. Well, I guess she turned out wrong. I believe she would be the mother of their perhaps 4 or 5 year old daughter, who now has NO ONE. So sad, I just don't get It. I hope she HANGS herself In Jail.

Can't people just argue? Why in the world do they have to start shooting each other? This society of gun fighters needs to be stopped. People can't seem to discuss their differences....I'm so tired of it.

I grew up with guns. We certainly didn't pull them out and start firing at the drop of a hat!

The gun violence lately is totally out of hand. Shooting after shooting, and many are innocent bystanders and sometimes young children. It is hard to watch the news.

Toad, I am so sorry for your loss of your friend. I also feel for the little girl. What a horrible situation and way to start out your young life.

Toad, it's hard losing a friend and I empathize. The young girl probably has some rough times ahead of her.

Beejay said, "I grew up with guns. We certainly didn't pull them out and start firing at the drop of a hat!" That's perfect. It's not just the availability of guns, but something has changed in parts of society and human life is no longer respected.

As a kid, our neighbors were hunters and had guns (and bows and arrows). They'd get drunk pretty regularly but no one ever shot anyone. I think the worst thing they did was get the dog drunk.
