We had a very busy weekend. On Friday Drew's parents came over for dinner and we really enjoyed our time having them at our house. Saturday Drew's son graduated from Case High School. We are so proud of him and happy now it is on to getting him in college. I have a sunburn from sitting outside for the graduation but I will not complain about it to see him cross the stage to graduate. Drew's Mom, Dad,Sister, Brother-in-law, his ex wife, niece and her daughter, Drew and I were all there to see him graduate. It was a very nice gradation ceremony. Sunday Drew's family, his son, Drew and I all went out for breakfast before Drew's family went back up north. We really enjoyed seeing his family for the weekend.

When I took Drew to work this morning he said he didn't want to go to work and he is working three days then he has a four day weekend.

Sounds like a perfect weekend. Congratulations to the new graduate. It's an exciting time for him, and also PROUD. You couldn't have had a much better reason to get together. FAMILY

Because I locked myself out of the house, I found out Old MacDonalds Farm has closed and they are having to move. I like my neighbor but sometimes her little pity parties get on my nerves. Yes, the house is in probate and we are going to have to move, probably to Nichols Hills. Which is where the people with "old money" live and the houses start at $300,000. Sorry but there will be no pity there. I wish them well. She did help me break into my house.

I also discovered Bath & Body Works had a "pre-sale" on Saturday and I made a killing. It was a good day (okay except that I locked myself out).

We are in our first week of ninety degree weather. Right now it is cloudy and soupy. Oh well.

Have a great day Irregulars.

Ah, neighbors! About a month ago, our neighbor came over with our mail. She talking and we realize that she is totally buzzed. Something about a woman up the road poisoning dogs, etc. said they'd poisoned her dog, and now the dog can't bark. Not true, I hear the dog all the time. We are totally confused.

Okkkaaayyyy. Fast forward a week. Minding our own business, walking our beautiful dachshund. Down the road we see another neighbor staggering towards us. Wait, this is ten in the morning! Yep, drunk as a skunk. Sits down in the road and starts crying that her boyfriend poisoned her dog and she now has the dog in a jar. Oh boy! Biggie gets her up and sends her stumbling down the road to her house about six blocks away.

Wild things going on only in the drunken brain, I'm sure! Except we have not seen the second woman's German Shepard since then. Uh oh.

Have a great day, folks....

I had all the windows shut to trap the "cool" air. When I woke up, I was roasting. Charlie was lying on the bathroom floor. I assume the tiles are cooler than the carpeting. Summer is here.
