there's no place like home, for sure.
I had my own bed last night but couldn't sleep, mind refused to shut off. It's going to be a very long day...

SER - I was going to e-mail you. What is up with you? Go home from where?

We are off to take my car in to get it painted. Still don't know what got on it but when it rained the other day, the stain was white and quite obvious it was eating the paint. What do you do?

Have a great day Irregulars.

SER, I echo OKIE'S questions. WHERE are you, that your not In your own bed? If your In the hospital, and didn't tell us, REMEMBER we care, and want to know when a FRIEND Is ill. This Is just a wish. You still have your own RIGHTS, but we DO care.

We want you home, SER, but we want you well. Take good care of yourself, and if you need me.... Call me.

We all want each other to be well. That's great.

I thought they said it was going to cool down?

My rental car is a Beetle. I must say I wouldn't buy one. Not a bad little car though, and I mean little.

OKIE, I had 2 beetles, an orange manual one with freckles (rust all over the front), and then my favorite of all the cars I've ever had - a beautiful metallic gold, semi automatic, such a fun, peppy, reliable car, but it succumbed to black ice and a curve, which made the back end (engine) keep curving after the roads' curve straightened. I was so sad to lose that car!

OKIE, I'm BIG, and loved ours. We only got rid of It, because I could see the problems were going to begin. We bought It used, but It was a great little car. OH, I forgot. Ours had a Moon Roof for me to stand up, and drive. LOL

I loved the old Beetles. I learned how to swap engines by myself working on them. I owned 4 over the course of time.

My first introduction to them was by an old girlfriend who owned a 59 sunroof(canvas - uncovered the whole roof). I learned to double clutch because there was no synchro in 1st gear. It had the small rear window and you had to open the hood to gas it up.
