Halloween

While I was out getting the Fall Color pictures I did find some nice Halloween pictures to share with everyone. I guess one goes with the other while I am out driving around. The only problem with the Halloween pictures is a little harder to find this year because not everyone is putting up the decorations this year. Here is what I have found this time.

This picture is on the corner of Ohio St. and Byrd St. in Racine Wi.

This picture was taken out in Lomira Wi when we went to Horicon Marsh.

I hope everyone enjoys the pictures that I have taken I am going to be going out and getting more to share with all of you.

I love this stuff. As a matter of fact, it will be just a few short weeks before other decorations go up.

Some of them are really cute. I think people are hesitant to put out displays because there was a rash of thefts and deliberate damage to some of the nicer, more expensive displays.

Halloween isn't what it used to be like when we were kids. There are a lot more pre-planned parties for treat distribution as a safer alternative to going door-to-door. Sadly, there are "real" creeps and spooks to be wary of.

I thought that the neighborhood decorations went up early around here.

Thank you for the pictures, THB. Very pretty and pretty spooky.

It says on a bulletin board here that this building will allow trick-or-treaters from 4-6 PM. You're supposed to put a note on your door if you want trick-or-treaters. I usually hang a small, rubber skeleton from my door knocker for Halloween. Would that be seen as an invitation to knock? I can't afford the candy and even if I could, I would probably eat it all by myself.
