Open Blog - Weekend

Saturday is Sweetest Day, another holiday manufactured to take our money. I wonder when Sourest Day is?

Have a great weekend.

Morning.....Oktoberfest in Walhalla, SC. A bit cool here....high in the high 60s. I haven't seen that in a year!

We are in the 50's right now. Sure felt good to have a cool breeze coming through the window last night.

I started out thinking I only had to run a couple of errands. Now I've decided to get my car washed, go to Bath & Body Works, Sprouts. Ace Hardware, Academy and somewhere else. Hmm.

I'm off. Have a great Saturday Irregulars.

Sleeping in was very sweet. I haven't had the chance in a couple weeks, and it felt incredible.

They told us to cover our tamaters last night. I got too tired and didn't. Luckily they survived. I have them up against the back wall of the house that retains heat. The thermometer this morning read 32 degrees when I looked out. Sunshine today and a warming trend here... so they say. We might get another week of above freezing to finish ripening some of my late crop.

Sheriff, even though it is a manufactured holiday, it doesn't cost a thing to remember to say how important someone is in your life. My Irregular friends are important. Thanks for reminding me to say it.

It's official: I have shingles. Right armpit and shoulder area. I went to the walk-in clinic. I got an anti-viral drug, steroids, and painkillers. I don't like the idea of taking steroids. I don't like the "speed" aspect of them, but I'll take them.

I can't believe the number of prescriptions I'm taking. Just call me Mr. Pill.

Now the shit is spreading down my arm and on my back.

Keep on top the meds, despite your dislike of them. I've not had it, and hope I never do. Hope you feel better soon! Keep us updated.
