I'm not looking forward to having to brave the morning cold... can't I just stay wrapped in a blanket instead?

I just went and braved the cold taking Drew to work. If you have to go out please bundle up it is really cold out there. I have some errands to do later when it warms up a little bit. I hope everyone stays warm and has a great day!

Cool here as well, but sunshiny out there. We won't even hit 60 today.

Well, it's a good thing I have a tissue here after reading what Beejay has to endure. We are at 36 right now which is a heat wave for Racine. On Sunday they said maybe 60 by this weekend, now they are talking snow.

Have a good one Irregulars and stay safe and warm.

It's still -6 here, and about 60 In the house. I have the "STAT' set at 72, but this house, as I have said before breathes better than I do. Gotta go out, and that means bringing my extra special Stanley all In one Handy Dandy Charger, air, light, you name It out, and Jump the car, and air all the tires up, because these FUCKING aluminum wheels never want to hold air In cold weather. I'm currently sitting here In my recliner covered by an old Amish Quilt, and feel just fine. WHY do I want to do all of this stuff? BECAUSE I need dog food. I was thinking about our IRREGULAR friend that left us, and thought, I hope he likes the EAGLES music, because he sure Is getting a GREAT performer to join him., In Glenn Fry.

Oh Toad, I can just picture a big tall man in a chair with a quilt on. The only thing you are missing is a cat. Want one? I woke up to a dried blood spot on my nose and then remembered the cat hitting me last night. He was mad because for once at 4:00 a.m. we didn't get up and feed him.

Toad- It is 14 down here in Racine right now. Then they are talking about it being in the 30's this weekend. It was -5 when I took Drew to work at 530 this morning.

Well, I survived the day. The building was cold. Worse in some spots than others. It is going to take some time to warm the bones in my thighs up. I'm heading under a blanket in seconds.

I hear news that the planets are supposed to be making a great showing early in the morning. Five of them all lined up in the southeastern sky just before sunrise. We need hale to take a break from all those marathons and keep us updated.

Toad, he has Bowie, too. It is a regular rock jam. Hey, I heard on one of those car shows that if you turn on your headlights for a few seconds before you engage the starter, your car will start better. I've been doing it, and I really believe it helps. It is supposed to slightly warm the battery and get the juice flowing.

KK, I just read your post now, but when I went out this morning, I turned everything on for about a half minute, and I'll be darned, but the car groaned, but STARTED. Of course the front left tire was flat, so I had to air that up, before I left.

Toad, I tried it after work. When I turned on the headlights, the dash was dim. As I sat for about 30 seconds, the dash lights got brighter. No starter motor groans, just started up. I'm a believer.
